Asphalt melter, also known as bitumen decanter, is ideal for solid asphalt to be re-liquefied by means of heating, and liquid asphalt will be pumped out for final application. In addition to asphalt, our heating and melting equipment can also be used for melting substances has similar properties to asphalt.

What’s more, specially designed heating and melting equipment is launched for heating hazardous chemical substances, such as DMF (dimethylformamide).

Asphalt barrel melters (bitumen drum decanter) are mainly used to heat and re-liquefy asphalt stored in drums. Due to its features of easy transportation and robust structure, they are suitable for areas that are hardly accessed by rail or barge. There are two heating types available for asphalt drum decanting, without self heating and with self heating. If you have thermal oil boiler on your site, our DLT series thermal oil heating asphalt melter is typically suited for you, while YDST series diesel oil burner heating asphalt melter is suitable for areaswhere thermal oil boiler is unavailable.

Bitumen bag melters (bitumen bag decanter) are developed by following the trend of alternative packaging for bitumen or asphalt. They are applicable to heat and melt bitumen slabs packed in woven big bags or ton bags. Same as asphalt drum melter, thermal oil heating and diesel oil burner heating methods are optional for you to meet different project needs.
